Jackson Whalan teams up with keyboardist and producer Ian Evans to create an anthem for personal and collective perseverance. “Handle That” is available on all digital platforms today, along with a simultaneous music video release.
Ian Evans is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and has played keys with the likes of Collie Budz, Barrington Levy, and other established acts in the music world. He also spent time living in Haiti working with Haitian artists, all-the-while making his own beats, composing songs, and playing in numerous groups throughout his career. Being a father as well… he can “handle that.” Jackson and Ian have been making tracks together for a few years in their stomping grounds, The Berkshires, MA, as heard on Jackson’s Souled Out EP (2016), and other past JW releases. In addition to vibing in the studio together, Ian also plays keys in the Jackson Whalan Live Band. As “Handle That” releases, the band is gearing up to play a few select shows in the northeast U.S..
